Terms and Conditions of Sale and Booking
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties within the framework of booking furnished accommodation offered by SIRM – Château de Logne, 57310 Rurange-les-Thionville, France.
Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
2. Booking
A booking becomes binding upon receipt of:
- written confirmation from the property (automatic e-mail or personalized message); and
- payment of the deposit required at the time of booking.
No reservation option can be maintained without payment of the deposit.
3. Payment
The balance of the stay is due:
- upon arrival, or
- prior to arrival depending on the platform used (Lodgify, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.).
Payments are accepted via the internet, bank transfer, or in cash (within legal limits).
The tourist tax is payable on site at the rate set by the Rives de Moselle local authority.
4. Security Deposit
A security deposit (bank imprint or cash deposit) may be requested upon arrival.
It will be refunded after inspection of the accommodation and provided that no damage has been found, within a maximum of 7 days.
5. Cancellation
By the guest:
- More than 14 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.
- Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit refunded.
- Less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show: the full amount of the stay is due.
By the owner:
In the event of force majeure or impossibility of accommodation (damage, major breakdown, administrative closure, etc.), the stay will be fully refunded without any additional compensation.
6. Arrival and Departure
- Arrival: between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Any early arrival (before 4:00 p.m.) or late arrival (after 7:00 p.m.) must be requested in advance and may be subject to an additional fee of €15.
- Departure: before 10:00 a.m. Any late departure must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and an additional fee, as applicable.
7. Use of the Premises
- All accommodations are strictly non-smoking.
- Pets are accepted only with prior approval and subject to a fixed fee of €30 per animal per stay.
- Children under 12 years old are only accepted in certain apartments and upon prior specific agreement for safety reasons.
- Guests agree to respect the peace and quiet of the property, the neighborhood, and the house rules displayed in the accommodation.
Any behavior deemed disrespectful, indecent, or contrary to the internal rules may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
8. Occupancy Capacity
The rental agreement is established for a specific number of occupants.
If the number of guests exceeds the stated capacity, the owner reserves the right to refuse the additional persons or to terminate the contract without refund.
9. Included Services and Optional Extras
Included in the price: Wi-Fi, parking (excluding electric charging), bicycle garage, access to part of the park, fitness room, leisure areas (petanque, table tennis, table football), barbecue, and garden furniture.
Optional services (cleaning, laundry, pets, second bed, electric car charging, etc.) may be offered at an additional cost.
Their rates are indicated on the “Pricing Information” page of the website or at the time of booking.
10. Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused by them.
The owner accepts no liability in the event of theft, loss, damage, accident, or assault affecting the guest, their belongings, or vehicles within the accommodation, park, parking areas, garages, or other common areas.
Guests must have civil liability insurance covering rental and personal injury damages.
In the event of intentional damage or gross negligence, the owner reserves the right to retain all or part of the security deposit to cover repair costs or other expenses incurred.
11. Complaints
Any complaint regarding the stay must be submitted in writing within 48 hours after departure to:

12. Force Majeure
The owner cannot be held responsible for the total or partial non-performance of their obligations resulting from an unforeseeable, irresistible event beyond their control (natural disaster, pandemic, administrative decision, damage, major breakdown, etc.).
In such cases, the stay may be canceled or postponed without any additional compensation being claimed by the guest.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent jurisdiction shall be the Court of Metz, in accordance with the provisions of the French Code of Civil Procedure.
